Effective date: June 18, 2026
Pastrax ("the app") is created by Let The Robots Do It ("we," "us"). This policy explains how Pastrax handles your information. The short version: Pastrax keeps everything on your phone. We don't collect it, we don't see it, and we never send it anywhere.
Information the app uses Location (GPS). While you ride, Pastrax records your location to trace the route of your ride, draw it on your personal map, and calculate ride statistics (such as distance, top speed, and your furthest point from home). Motion & fitness activity. Pastrax reads your device's motion data to automatically detect when you start and stop a bike ride, so it can begin and end recording without you having to remember, and so it can save battery by using GPS only while you're actually riding. Home location. If you choose to set a home location, it is saved so the app can show how far your rides take you from home. How your information is stored and used All of the data above is processed and stored only on your device. Pastrax does not have servers, does not require an account, and does not transmit your location, motion, ride history, or home location off of your device. Because this information never leaves your phone, we never receive, collect, store, sell, or share it.
Third parties Pastrax contains no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. Your information is never shared with any third party because it never leaves your device.
Data retention and deletion Your ride data remains on your device for as long as the app is installed. You are always in full control:
Delete the app to permanently remove all ride history, your home location, and all other app data from your device. Revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services / Motion & Fitness, or under Settings → Pastrax. Revoking location or motion access stops Pastrax from recording new rides. Note: if you have iCloud or device backups enabled, app data may be included in your own device backup. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple under Apple's terms, not by us.
Children Pastrax is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy If we update this policy, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the new version at this URL.
